Graduated from BGRIMM, Ran Hongxiang started to work in 2004, mainly engaged in research on magnetic separation technology and equipment. He participated in several key projects with funds from the Eleventh-five Year Plan, the State Special Foundation for Research Institutes, State 863 Program, Beijing Science and Technology Foundation and BGRIMM foundation. Ran Hongxiang has conducted intensive research on magnetic separator for pre-concentration and technology for non-metal minerals purification and cleaning of iron concentrate with solutions formulated to some of the critical issues and over 10 papers published. He was awarded one first prize and two second prizes for science and technology progress at the ministerial level, 3 patents for invention and 8 patents for new applications.
